SENIOR PROGRAMMER ANALYST Location: St. Twinsburg, OH Responsibilities: Senior programmer analyst needed to work on development of pharmacy claims processing applications. Core skill include full project lifecycle development of applications in Java (C# would be a plus) in Client/Server and/or Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) applications. Experience with Eclipse and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET desired. C/C++ skills would be helpful. Strong Relational Database (Oracle and/or Pervasive) and SQL knowledge is a must. Responsibilities include: Analyze business requirements from Services and develop detailed system requirements. Convert business and system requirements into detailed design specifications and technical specifications. Provide estimates on hours required for a project for cost and schedule estimations. Convert system designs and technical specifications into properly written code and algorithms using Java, C#, SQL, and/or C/C++. Analyze/Troubleshoot existing code and correct errors. Run quality assurance tests to find errors in code and confirm code meets system requirements, design specifications and technical specifications. Train key end users and support staff on operation of programs. Create and maintain technical and operating documentation on program code,logic, changes, and corrections. Provide technical support to end users. Provide production run monitoring after implementation. Stay abreast of new technologies, markets, and trends. Support installation of new software loads. Assist system administration in setting up tests and working out problems during system setup. Must be a US citizen in order to obtain required Department of Defense clearance. Facilitate and participate in functional design meetings with key process team resources. Assist in defining and reviewing the functional requirements for the application, specifically the gaps that are filled by customizations. Design individual RCE components per the RCE inventory. Confirm the completeness and consistency of the design deliverables. Resolve any inconsistencies discovered. Inform the RCE team lead of any issues that may affect other areas of the project. Participate in quality reviews to ensure traceability of the designs to the requirements. Participate in the transitions of the customization functional designs to the technical designers. Create RCE Functional Designs. Provide functional guidance to the RCE technical designer for the RCE work units. Conduct functional design walkthrough with technical designer. Conduct Peer Reviews for quality assurance. Identifying and documenting all specific functional requirements associated with implementing and application Develop a comprehensive functional description of current and future system and process requirements through structured interviews, fit/gap sessions, focus groups, documentation review and other dtat gathering techniques Interfaces with technical personnel to identify specific system requirements and risks. Skills Extensive functional development experience and experience with implementing Peoplesoft. Knowledge of PeopleTools I at minimum.
